I was sort of amused, during the torrential rainfalls we endured last week, when my bulb order from Botanus.com arrived.
Our garden is in no condition to be worked for a few days but that’s OK. I had forgotten what I had ordered from Botanus and was waiting patiently for the parcel to get here so I could head out to local nurseries and get even more bulbs.

Planting spring flowering bulbs in the fall is one of the most rewarding things I can think of doing. On a fine autumn day, we go outside and work in still-warm weather, tucking bulbs carefully into the ground, where they nestle in for a few months of napping.
