Sixteen-year-old Nicholas Lefavor, son of Joe Lefavor, owner of the Adam's Ribs restaurants, recently emailed a note nominating his neighbors for Home of the Week.
"Not only is the interior spectacular with beautiful decor," the teen wrote, "but the landscape of their property is a wonderful tribute to Mrs. Hundley's love of color and nature. Her extensive garden is stunning, but that is no surprise because of all the hard work she puts into it." Nicholas added: "My family always enjoys looking out our windows and seeing their beautiful yard."
How could we resist? After making an appointment, we skedaddled over to the residence, located in the hills of Cranberry Woods in Crownsville. The young man is spot-on in his assessment.
Wendy and Aaron Hundley purchased the 9-year-old, two-story textured brick residence in 2004 as a spacious place to raise their only child, Elaina. Also living in the five-bedroom, six-bath home is Lily, a Maltese. Though she looks like a handful of manicured white floss, the pooch is a fierce watchdog.
