Miss Barnum and Mr. Seiter exchange vows at St. Joseph Catholic Church

Alyssa Hope Barnum and Jacob Lawrence Seiter, both of Conway, were married Friday, June 3, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway. The Rev. James Melnick officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kristi Massey of Conway and Jeffery Barnum of Gilbert, Ariz. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Davis and Mae Barnum and the late Tony Barnum of Greers Ferry.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Seiter of Conway and a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Simon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Seiter of Conway.

Church doors were adorned with grapevine wreaths entwined with ribbon, calla lilies and greenery.

Carly Cowan and Natalie Shelton of Conway attended the bride’s book.

In the sanctuary, floor length bows marked the pews. Grecian columns with crystal vases filled with bells of Ireland and hot pink and lime green Gerber daisies flanked the altar. Wrought iron candelabras completed the setting.
