The newly-redesigned website, http://www.BeeRaw.com , showcases Bee Raw Honey’s American Honey Collection of 10 regional varietals supplied by American family-owned apiaries dedicated to the meticulous bee husbandry that is required to produce distinctive honeys from a single flower source, said company owner Zeke Freeman. Freeman blogs about the honeys, the apiaries and the families who run them as well as supplying facts about bees and the plight of their declining populations. The new site also features many honey recipes and videos that demonstrate how the honeys can be paired with food and beverages.
Honey gifts include four- and nine-varietal tasting flights that highlight the distinct flavors of each honey the same as a tasting flight of fine wines or champagnes, Freeman said. Included are four-honey flights with fruit varietals, wildflower varietals and for cheese pairings as well as a nine-varietal flight. The honeys are displayed in clear 1.5-ounce beeswax sealed vials nestled in a solid American oak block and encased in a ribbon-wrapped gift box.
