“A CHRISTMAS CACTUS” — Clague Playhouse continues its 84th season with Eliott Byerrum’s detective comedy about a struggling female private eye Cactus O’Riley, who has a bad case of the holiday blues. The last surprise package she needs is a lovelorn deputy D.A. , a pair of armed-and-goofy fugitives hunting some dead private eye named Jake Marley and her male secretary’s overbearing mother, who mistakes a tense hostage situation for just the perfect little holiday murder mystery party. Performances continue at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 11. Saturday and Dec. 1 performances are sold-out, and there is no performance Nov. 24. Tickets are $16 for adults and $15 for senior citizens (ages 60 and older) and students.
